According to World Health Organization data:
- 325 million people were seriously affected by climate change in 2009 and 303,000 died as a result.
- The number of people affected will grow to 660 million per year by 2030 (only 20 short years into the future).
- That number will grow to 1 billion by 2050, including countless millions in North America, Europe and Australia.
